The direct pool access from our well-maintained room enhanced our experience, while the attentive staff, particularly during meal times, elevated the overall service. The Sri Lankan dinner buffet was a highlight, featuring an array of delicious local dishes and fresh cream cakes that delighted our palate. the lack of evening entertainment options was noticeable, and Wi-Fi connectivity was unreliable at times, which detracted from reaching out and enjoying our stay fully.

Unexpected warmth from the staff
Staying at Anantaya Resort was a delightful experience. The warm hospitality from the staff, especially Rishopana and Kanogitha, truly made our visit exceptional. The delicious Sri Lankan cuisine at breakfast and dinner was a treat, complemented by the beautiful beach and regular pool cleaning, which kept everything in pristine condition. We booked a room with direct pool access, enhancing our comfort immensely. Each moment felt like a dream getaway, and we were fortunate to enjoy DJ night festivities that added to our ambiance.
Our dining experience had a few hiccups. service occasionally felt slow and responses to simple requests were lacking at times. While the hotel overall showed promise, there were instances where the cleanliness of certain areas could have been better managed, slightly detracting from the otherwise serene atmosphere. We encountered a few challenges with room turnover and maintenance that may need attention moving forward.
